Shale & Singe puppies will turn 4 weeks old tomorrow and are now eating mash puppy food and have a morning, noon and dinnertime snacks at their moms milkbar. All the pups are robust and are now having fun in their playground with the wobble bug, tug & spin, slide and the krinkle tunnel. These obstacles gets the puppies used to balancing and tugging essential skills that come in handy later on for such things as agility competitions and such.
Along with the fun comes a lot of work with such things as training them to pee and poop in the potty pans. It typically takes about 10 days or so for the pups to use the pans 100% which helps to make my job a bit easier!

I have been doing daily evaluations of the litters and am starting to do a tentative list of puppy to each person on my puppy list.

The Feisty x Lurk pups have been moved to a bigger whelping box for the next week until such time as they will then get moved to the front room when Shale's pups will move out to the puppy cottage.
